Vivo v40 SE 4G Features, Specifications and Price Difference from vivo V40SE 5G

Vivo V40 SE 4G has been launched in the Czech Republic. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon chipset and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for wired fast charging. This is a new addition to the brand’s V40 lineup. It carries a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit and has an IP54-rated build. We get an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP54 rating.

The newly launched phone Vivo V40 SE is a 6.67-inch full – HD + AMOLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 394 ppi pixel density. The handset is powered by a 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 685 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The RAM can also be virtually extended up to 8GB and the storage can be expanded. We can use a microSD card which is up to 1TB. It ships  Android 14-brd FuntouchOS 14.

However, for the optics, the smartphone carries a dual rear camera unit that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera of the handset is equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor.

The Vivo V40 SE 4G is supported by a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. The smartphone also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity. It comes with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. For security, it is equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo V40 SE 4G is cheap and an alternative for the Vivo V40 SE 5G which debuted in March. Both the phones have the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display and the refresh rate is also the same at 120Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 on the 5G variant is replaced by the Snapdragon 685, which has an effect on performance as the former is powerful. 

The camera is also different. We get a 50 MP primary camera on both models or phones but the 5G has an 8MP secondary sensor and a 2 MPthird lens, but the 4G phone has a 2 MP secondary sensor and a flicker lens.  The Vivo V40 SE 4G gets a larger 16 MP front camera as compared to an 8 MP shooter on the Vivo V40 SE 4G.

However, we get a 5,000mAh battery on both models, and the 4G version has a faster 80W charging speed compared to 44W on the 5G.

Vivo V40 SE 4G Price and colour

The Vivo V40 SE 4G starts in the Czech Republic at CKZ 4,999 (roughly Rs. 17,800) for the 8GB + 128GB option, but the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CKZ 5,999 (roughly Rs. 21,400). The phone has two colour options — Crystal Black and Leather Purple.
