OnePlus Nord 4 key features and specifications

The OnePlus Nord 4 5 G is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. It is available in 8GB RAM variants with 128GM or 256 GB of storage and a 12GB RAM variant with 256GB of storage. The battery is a 5,5000mAh unit—the largest battery on a OnePlus phone ever. It has 100W fast charging, which allows you to charge the phone up to 100 percent in just about 28 minutes.

Onboard is also the OnePlus Battery Health Engine, which uses AI technology to assume the amount of power going into the phone and how much time it requires to be charged fully. However, according to OnePlus, the battery on the Nord 4 5G has been tested to survive more than 1,600 charging cycles or over four years of use and still retains over 80 per cent of its original capacity.

The OnePlus Nord 4 5G is a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2,150 nits. On offer is Ultra HDR support and Aqua Touch, which is also available on the more premium OnePlus 12R and flagship OnePlus 12.The smartphone features a metal unibody structure, which is also thin at just 0.8 cm

The OnePlus Nord 4 5G gets a 5G Network Intelligence feature. This feature learns locations you frequent and accelerates signal recovery when you exit spots such as elevators or garments. The company claims that the phone had zero call drops on WhatsApp in tests conducted in an elevator.

OnePlus Nord 4 5G camera features

The OnePlus Nord 4 5G features a horizontal offset camera setup at the rear, reminiscent of the Nothing Phone (2a). It includes a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The front has a 16MP sensor in a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for selfies and video calls.

When you capture images during the daytime with the primary camera on the OnePlus Nord 4, you will get clear images with a lot of detail, even when you zoom in on images in your gallery. The primary Sony LYT-600 sensor offers 2x in-sensor zoom support, and images captured at this focal length are also clear and detailed.

The Nord 4’s ultra-wide-angle camera has a lower-resolution sensor, which gives usable images during the day. However, it does not offer the same color accuracy as the primary camera, and there’s also a bit of distortion around the edges.

In low-light scenarios, the primary and secondary cameras both do a good job of lighting up dark scenarios. However, there’s a vast gap in image quality between the two—the primary camera delivers sharper images, while images captured with the ultra-wide-angle camera have a lot of smoothing. The camera app automatically takes a long-exposure shot when it’s dark outside, and it takes 2-3 seconds to capture an image.

The selfie camera captures clear images outdoors during the day and in well-lit indoor areas. It struggles in dim lighting but still captures enough detail. The screen acts as a flash in very dark scenarios, providing decent results if you stay still.

The primary camera can record videos at up to 4K/60fps. However, image stabilization is only supported at 1080p/60fps, with no option for 1080p/30fps or lower resolutions. The ultra-wide-angle and selfie cameras, which record at up to 1080p/30fps, do not support stabilization.
